Its purpose is to aid parents in the obligation to bring up their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4) At Grace Lutheran School our children are taught by a professional staff of divinely called pastors and teachers who have been trained to provide a thorough, well-rounded, Christ-centered education. |

(Items date back to 1864 because the Eighth Street Church was founded in 1861 by Pastor Karl Waldt, a missionary of the Wisconsin Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. In 1881 it received its fourth pastor, Christoph Dowidat.) |
