Education
I have been a teacher in public schools since Fall of 2005 and have always had a passion for education. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in August of 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education for Regular Education and Special Education. I have always found joy in the greatest challenges as it is so rewarding to see the outcome of watching children learn and grow. I had never anticipated being serving here at Grace, it just goes to show that God works in miraculous ways.

Experience
I have taught special education and general education students throughout all of my years of teaching. I taught in Menasha, Wisconsin from 2005-2008. I ran an in-home childcare out of my home to be home with our children from 2008-2010. I realized my passion was being in a classroom setting and so I went back to teaching in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin from 2010-2014; Oshkosh, Wisconsin from 2014-2021, and Grace Lutheran from 2021-present.

Part of my goal as an educator is to spark curiosity in the minds of students and watch the children grow academically and in their faith. I am honored to work closely together with you as you are your child’s number one teacher. I feel frequent communication is vital and encourage you to come to me with any questions or concerns.

Family
Both Jesse, my husband, and I grew up in many different places. I have lived in Oshkosh since moving here in 2000 to attend College. I never left after meeting my husband here and have fallen in love with the area due to the community and the things that it has to offer. Jesse and I were married in 2004, and have two wonderful children, Caleb and Naomi. We have two dogs and one cat. Our children are in multiple sports and keep us very busy.

Interests
I enjoy reading, being on the water, snowmobiling, rollerblading, swimming, hiking, being outdoors, and watching my children play sports. I am definitely a Wisconsin fan – Packers, Bucks, Brewers, and Badgers!
