What do you teach at Grace?
I teach 4th grade
How does your teaching equip students for the future?
Students have access to technology to enhance their learning. We are using new programs designed to strengthen their weaker areas of study.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
I like to travel and bring those experiences into my classroom. I believe that real life experience is the best education.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of school?
I like to camp and explore the outdoors. I also like to do DIY projects around the house.
What is something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?
I received my Masters in Education degree from MLC.
What’s your “catch-phrase” or something you’re constantly saying to your students?
Let’s Go! (at the end of recess, students run when they hear it)
What is your deep hope for your students?
That they grow in their love for the Savior and that they share that love with others.
What do you hope students will remember about you or your class?
I had a student tell me once that I am like a Dad and their teacher. I have always thought of my students as my children.
What do you love most about Grace?
Grace is a family. People come and go, but you always can call this your home. I feel very blessed to be a part of the ministry here at Grace.
